In the first place, pregnant women wouldn't be warned against drinking coffee if it is healthy. I'm not saying that it is unhealthy but since its basic ingredient is caffeine, then that should be something to think about. The amount of caffeine however depends on the coffee preparation you are taking in. Brewed coffee contains the most caffeine, making me a guaranteed caffeine addict. Next in line is instant coffee.
If you want to continue drinking coffee but do not want too much caffeine in your body then choose decaf as a teaspoon only contains about 2 mg of caffeine compared to up to 164 mg of caffeine in brewed coffee.
